“Don't be a stomach grouch!” Whoever Mr. Happy Party was, this was his stern admonition in the old Puryear’s advertising mural, which is proudly displayed on the south wall of The Drugstore Room. Our largest Boarding House suite, Drugstore is clean and classic, with wood paneling, industrial metal furnishings, and charming hints of an earlier time in America---including glass canisters of penny candy on the shelves!

Roomy and evocative, you'll find Drugstore to be downright delightful.From the huge vintage-style clock on the wall to the apothecary-style jars on the shelves, this 814-square foot room has old drugstore charm written all over it. Two giant TVs give you the option of watching movies in the seating area or curled up in bed, and a bar table for two is the perfect place to enjoy room service from The Merc (while watching the goings-on down on Kihekah Avenue!) It’s the perfect getaway suite for two, but a king sofa sleeper allows for four to share this room comfortably.
